We’ve just announced an unexpected expansion for our beloved game Lost Ruins of Arnak. We’re so thrilled by your excitement! Reading your reactions made our day at the office:

Well this is a must buy for one of my favourite games and so glad it will fit in the mega chest of awesomeness.
Some questions have already started popping up in the forums, so we’ve put all the answers right here in one spot for you!
What’s in the box?
You can expect 50 new cards (30 Item cards and 20 Artifact cards), 2 new sites with unique effects and 1 updated site to rebalance the game. You can definitely expect a rulebook–if you want to read it earlier, you can download the Preview Rulebook :).
Will it fit the Adventure Chest and what if I sleeve my cards?
Yes, it also fits in the Adventure Chest alongside all previous content!
Cards will fit even when sleeved (we tested using 90-micron Paladin Sleeves). Brand new sleeves might take a little while to "flatten out" once on the cards, so the fit will get even better over time.
The fit of the new site tiles can vary depending on humidity—if they don't fit directly into the insert, you can store them on top of the card decks. We've also mentioned this in the instructions for the Adventure Chest.
Do I need any other expansions to play this?
Nope! You need only the base game to play Surprise Shipment. However, it is 100% compatible with both Expedition Leaders and The Missing Leaders if you want to enjoy the whole Arnak content.
Where and when can I buy it?
This expansion will be available to purchase on July 30, 2026. You can buy it through our CGE e-shop, and it will also be available at Gen Con in room 235. And yes, the expansion will also hit retail shortly after Gen Con.
Languages & international timelines:
The English version will be available on July 30, 2026.
Regarding other languages, these languages are confirmed by our partners, and you can expect most of them to be available in Q4 (some later):
