It’s been five incredible years since Lost Ruins of Arnak was introduced. Three expansions, print’n’play solo campaign, four promo cards, and a big box later, it’s time to address the question you’ve all been asking: Will we see a digital version of this beautiful game?
Let's face it, Lost Ruins of Arnak is probably not the first game that comes to mind when we talk about portability. With its quite sizable board, numerous resources, three distinct piles of cards, and much more, it's a game that demands space. Perhaps that's precisely why many of you have been regularly asking us about a digital adaptation – something that fits on your laptop and can be played literally anywhere.
As some of you may know, we have our own dedicated digital team here at CGE, the same team that has been diligently working on the Codenames app for a while. We certainly had opportunities to license Arnak to other studios who expressed interest. However, to be frank, Lost Ruins of Arnak is one of our true passion projects. We firmly decided that we wanted 100% creative control over the final result. That's why we patiently waited for our own internal capacity to become available.
